Indoceanic Services SARL previously traded under 'Harold José Thomson'.
The business was created by Mr Harold José THOMSON in 1981 with one small office located at Le Port in a family house. Harold José Thomson started in the maritime field, after couple of years, working as front desk employee in a travel agency, then he worked in a stevedoring and portagency company in 1981.
After years practice and with a good experience in the maritime environment he decided to work for himself at Reunion island. He visited Lloyd’s of London and the P&I Clubs offering assistance to Ship's Owners and Charterers at a time where they did not have a local correspondent on the Reunion island.
He expanded his business in providing his services in the neighbouring islands and established a network in these islands, Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mayotte and Seychelles thus Indoceanic services was created with a representative based on each island.
